I don't know what I was expecting in Amsterdam,
but it wasn't this.
Large ships with big lips..
Buildings in the shape of a ship..
And then the canals were spectacular, with the houses,
absolutely gorgeous.
This is our accommodation for the next 4 nights
and we just happened to go past on the canal cruise.
I don't think this is Amadante class!
Every where you turn the city is fabulous!
This caught my eye..on the top of the building.
A nice old SAAB 900 Aero..
wouldn't mind one of these!
Now if I had one of these I don't think I'd want
to get out on this side,
check out the tyres are nearly over the edge.
VVG on the front of a canal boat...
Seven bridges in a row..
you don't see that often !
After the cruise we braved the "killer bikes"
and had a brief walk around town.
Followed by a trip out to see a windmill.
Then back to the ship past "Dolly Parton" bridge.
The Bridal Party had our last dinner together
in the Erlebnis Restaurant.
The chef in his "office"
Sweets like the whole meal magnificent.
And a fond farewell to the staff..
Goodnight, see you in the morning!
I've got to say this trip exceeded all our expectations.
The staff exceptional and the food incredible.
If your looking for a once in a lifetime holiday
look at this!!!!
