Dinner at the Princess'

One of the other extrodinary events organised
for us by APT
was dinner and a piano recital at the home of
Princess Heide von Hohenzollern.

This magnificent Palace holds weddings, concerts &
art shows to help pay for upkeep.

Unfortunately her ladyship waited in vain to meet
the Princess..

While the photographer snapped a couple of Magnolias
soon to burst into bloom.

The old Prince stood by the door....

This has a remarkable collection of art
& curiosities.

This magnificent stone inlay work.

And this with Lapis Lazuli..
See I haven't forgotten everything!!

Well not everyone has a Leopard in their lounge.

And then the "Honeymoon Suite"
with it's 100 plus year old bath.
I could see myself in there..

The biggest bed I've ever seen!

Doesn't every music room have it's own
Pipe Organ ?

Well a bit late for a honeymoon really,
but their own bubbles were excellent.
As was the wine to follow!

Now who's next said the Vulture?

The marquetry in this cabinet was superb.

Perhaps sir & madam would prefer a more intimate dinner?

No thanks we'll dine with our friends!

I told you the wine was good !!!!!

And the piano recital was lovely...
played on the Steinway Grand Piano!!!
Our soloist having a bit of time off...
