We went to Armadale ( no not the one past Kelmscot )
This one has a ferry and a good little pub.
A drive out to the end of the road had us passed
this lovely cascade..
And a great tree...
And this really nice house down by the shore..
See it's not all Castles !!!
Then our last day was Eilean Donan Castle,
well Clan Mc Rae was having their annual "gathering"
read a big lunch and piss-up.
So the Grockles weren't allowed in till 3 pm.
However this was parked up outside..
in the bus zone!!!

After lunch we got back and the tide had left...
I couldn't resist the patterns in the water.

Well the kitchen had a great period display.

And then a wee drive into Plockton,
a really cute little town, before going home
to cook a Lamb Roast....
And tomorrow we move on towards Glasgow.

Wow. Great photos guys, looks like you're having a great time. So when's the wedding.
Jen told me to check April 4 so I thought the big deal was all the lochs and canals. Then she tells me Stephen proposed on April 3 and after or during some tears Alison said YES. YAY THAT IS AWESOME. Huge congrats to you both. Can't wait to crack some bubbles with you to celebrate this wonderful turn of events.
Oh my, Europe is such a romantic place and on a cruise no less on I the Danube. Stephen you rock!
