Rothenberg

Alison was in recovery mode again today,

so on the bus for an hour drive to Rothenberg.

Apparently after Fukashima, Germany decided to rid itself

of Nuclear Power.

So there are wind turbines through the countryside

and solar panels...

Gee we Aussies have really got our act together haven't we !!

Off the bus, outside this historic walled city.

Through the gate....looking up to the Ramparts.

This place is straight into the Middle Ages with cars !

Some of the doors were AWESOME !!!

As it's Easter there were dancers in the main square.

Do you like this roof ?

I loved it !

You don't see many of these around here.

A Mustang , kinda looks out of place to me!

Now that's more like it !

A German nic- nac shop does a roaring trade.

Then there was this....Alison would have been in heaven!

Then next door but one, something for a misbehaving lady !!

Across the old moat.

and up onto the Rampart ,

 looking back to one of the cathedrals

over the roofs of the city. 

Managed to get a quiet moment without too many 

people or cars, looking to another of the city gates.

Then headed back to the Town Square...

Some of the boys were having a drink at the pub.

After a wonderful afternoon...

This caught my eye outside in the carpark.

An Audi Convertible mit Mini Van.

Now that's style!
