We had to visit Perth, didn't we...
This gorgeous Tulip was waiting for us.
This lovely old bridge crosses The River Tay.
Streetscape with all the Chimneys.
Alex had suggested Pitlochry as an overnighter.
The River Tummel gave us a spectacular entrance to this
lovely little town.
Now they built a dam in Pitlochry for Hydro Power
and also a fish ladder to allow the salmon to migrate
to their breeding grounds.
Ever seen a fish ladder before?

Oh oh .. I'd buy that says Alison,
fabulous, but not for sale!!!
The station was gorgeous..
As was the little pedestrian bridge!
The setting sun out our bedroom window,
just loved the birds!
Here they are again on the suspension bridge,
obviously not just for the young.
Breakfast wasn't till 8.30
so I took the big camera for a walk...2 degrees..brrr!
This is the entrance to a lovely old riverside estate.
Roadside Episcopalian Church and graveyard.
Around the corner hows this for a gatehouse?
Looking up to our bedroom window...
sleeping beauty was awake when I got back.
Breakfast then off ..
Up the A9 to Inverness then down the side
of Loch Ness...
Wouldn't be any good without a picture of Nessie
would it, he appears to have run aground at the hotel!
A free view of the old Castle on the shores of
Loch Ness.
A view over the Loch
We continued on past several other Lochs.
This had a nice lookout.
Onwards to The Isle of Skye..
There is still the last bits of snow on the mountains
in this fabulous country.
