How the Mighty have fallen !!

The last day in Amsterdam after leaving the bags, 

we walked past these beautiful old canal boats.

We also walked past this...

Expeditie,

I wonder if it says

get out quick as the building is sinking ??? 

Then while we had a nice Dim Sum

 for our last meal in Amsterdam

they put up this wheel...

well they were working on it anyway!!

It is King's Day coming up and the festivities will begin soon.

So after sadly bidding JJ farewell,

we went and got on the bus..

Past what looks like a Dutch version of "The Opera House"

(it appears to be covered in similar tiles),

crossed with something from Star Wars. 

As were leaving the harbour we're greeted with all these 

Beach Cottages!

Ted waving goodbye to Mainland Europe as we 

leave the entrance.

That's the space for the bags,

We changed ends so our heads were pointing to the sharp end!

The Meal...

The bread was lovely!!!

20 seconds of "North Sea Air"

then back inside shivering....

The "ensuite"

It  sort of worked..

But for a "meal and bed"  plus travel for two..

for $169...not bad but

maybe we've been spoilt!!
