Memories...

Got the computer at last....

Sitting at Howard and Lizzies and saw an old 

favourite in the garden..

Know this is not a favourite in the UK 

but fun to see and show to Stephen.

We had decided to do the rounds of the my old haunts..

Not that Peter and Pauline are old haunts..

Great to catch up and had a lovely lunch at an old pub

the Leather Bottle. 

Then off to the house I would always call the family home.

Lindens in Wokingham..

Knocked on the door to ask permission to take a picture..

just like my Father had done a few years ago..

......we were asked into the house,

which was in the process of being redecorated.

So much the same and so much changed...

Long chat and quick look around...

Then off to the old shop that we had been told that was now Ladbrooks..

not...it is in fact an opticians.

Then off to my old flat/apartment...the side door

is the front door...one of them has just sold..

wonder how much?

Tried to go and see my old neighbour but no reply!

So just took a picture of my old house.

We did try and find the old shop in Ascot but seems to have 

had the facade changed.

Also tried to get to the Marist Convent school...

trust us it was a School Open Day and

we could not get anywhere close!!!!

Long day but fun for me to show Stephen
