Sunday night was fireworks night
at the Knutsford May Day weekend.
Sooo.
Here are a few...
Then in the morning we headed 28 miles
to Chester...
Here we go again with selective colour.
Blue
Green
I love this feature.
Lovely corner building.
The age and the number got me here...
The door was good,
try double clicking & read the sign on the right.
The three Musketeers.
On the Old Wall..
Looking down to the Old Tower.
Chester was a very important Port
in the 1300's
Then the River silted up.
One of the Locks still in operation.
Sculpture of the Cannon that was destroyed in the
Civil War of 1642-1646.
You don't see many of those around here !!!
A lovely Canal side cottage.
Guess who ?
Self explanatory.
Loved the Bottle Glass.
One of the Canal Boats going for a cruise.
We'd love to do that!
Beautiful foliage, at the Dean's Park.
Chester Cathedral through the Spring foliage.
A Dovecote outside the garden.
This in the pavement.
And this on the pavement...
We saw him starting with a pile of sand
on the way to the wall.
And just because !
After lunch we went for a drive into and out of Wales..
just because.
