Last Day.....

Last full day of our holiday..
and we had said we would do
the Gardens by the Bay.

Singapore Eye with
an Otter sign..now I did not expect that!

Sculptures make up a lot of the Gardens.

The Trees..more on those later.

Into the first Dome..
The Cloud Dome.
Massive waterfall.

Lego Plants at the entrance.

Then the real things..

So much beauty and colour..
these pictures still do not capture the true hues!

More flowers..

Pitcher Plants on their own Island.

Reflections

And Orchids.

Another view of the Sky Trees.

Selfie in the Cloud Dome.

This was a little bit of an effort for me with my Vertigo.

Stephen..He is an Aries after all.

Were he found a Flamingo!

A Chilean Wine Tree.

Wood sculptures all over the place
dragons and eagles.

School holidays so they had a Nursery Rhyme theme.

Sculptures of woman's faces in the garden.

Hmm!!!
I had to erase Alison's comment.

More stunning flowers.

An ancient olive tree.

The bastard got me on a Sky Walk again!

Awesome but scary!

The Towers Hotel.

With it's own shopping mall..
ice rink, Casino and more.

Including it's own water canal and boats.

A Ferrari Store..
every mall should have one.

And some of the weirdest watches I've seen.
French & Diamond Set of course...
Then tomorrow home.

And Back to the Beginning!

We arrived in Singapore and although my hip was okay on the flight
the following day was not so pretty..
After some pool time we went back to China Town for some more food!

This time we managed to find a temple that allowed
us in and Stephen could take photos!

This apparently is Stephen's Guardian Deity!

Back out into the streets and a couple of signs that caught
Stephen's eye...

Double click if interested.

We suffered some Street Food and then walked back through the
streets before heading back to the Hotel..
jet lagged, tired, but certainly not hungry!

Pre Wedding Check.

Carolyn was heading up to Tunbridge Wells
to investigate things for Nick's wedding.
Also to pick up Freya's Bridesmaid Dress.
This caught my eye walking through
the shops.

The three of us having a quick lunch.

From there I tried to catch up with an old mate from
my jewellery days...
Then out to Buckhurst Park where the reception is to be held.
Wow!!

What a spot for a reception!

The garden is spectacular....
These superb Irises.

Not a bad view eh!
The reception is to be held below the formal garden.

Carolyn & Alison in heaven.

Then on to Withyham Anglican Church.

This is one old Church...
How's this for a crypt?

Stars in the firmament, above a very old frieze.

The Chapel Door.

And just to spoil a lovely day
we were Liberaced on the M23
on the way back.

However we took Carolyn out for a lovely French meal
as a small thank you for having us...
Next stop Singapore.
