Day 463 Byron Bay

Byron Bay was to be a catch up point with a couple of people and a full massage from Suzie for the both of us...not to be though, as she was in India while we were in town...we did however, manage to catch up with Jeff (son of John and Jenny Brown), for a couple of cups of coffee at one of his haunts in Byron Bay.
We also ventured out to the Light House and the most Easterly Point of Australia. Ventured out was the word...we had had rain all the day before but that had not mattered as we were snug in the Turtle watching Bathhurst, and this was followed by a howling wind!!!!!
The waves were a crashing, the whales were a splashing and we were hanging on to stop ourselves being blown away.....great scenery though and lovely to see more whales and some dolphins which were playing in the waves.
The lighthouse was pretty too! Not long enough here but we are on the way down the coast on the way home so time is of an essence!
