Stephen had promised a trip into Nimbin when we got to this part of the world. He had teased me that this is where we were going to retire to.....yeh right! The scenery is fantastic in this area with plenty of rolling hills and valleys...right up Stephen's alley! The Nimbin Hills above is just before you get to the town boundary and is fairly speckie!
Even the sign looks like it is left over from the sixties or on drugs! Please note that Toby had to be in this picture too!
The main street...Stephen even managed to get the BMW E 28 5 Series in the frame....he had not realised it was there until we downloaded the photo's...oh well all good. There was more drug befuddled people here than I have ever seen before...if they were not spaced out they had abused and lost any grey matter!
I have never been very tolerant of the smell of the weed...it was in ever cafe, pub and restaurant...literally making me feel ill...and this is in the cleaned up state, can't imagine what it must have been like before. (I should apply for a job as a sniffer dog...or sniffer bitch as Stephen says...). Needless to say we are not living in Nimbim...however, there are some lovely spots between Nimbin and Byron Bay...now there's a thought!!!
