Montezuma Falls

Montezuma Falls is situated between Zeehan and Rosebery.

Reputed to be one of the largest drops of water in Tassie.

Now this is a three hour walk along an old tram line..

not what I would normally take on but I thought I would give it a go!!

The scenery along the track was to die for...

...and I nearly did!!

This old bridge was one of many.

The Flora both large and small, picturesque.

One of the old mine entrances....very dark and spooky!!

Then the falls..after an hour and a half!!!!!!

The bastard got me on this swing bridge....

I walked on like a Praying Mantis...

this thing is scary, but he did keep his promise and not rock the bridge!!!

Himself at the bottom of the falls..

...all 104 metres of them..

The best we have seen in Tasmania.

Stephen congratulated me on getting there.

I was absolutely buggered...

and I had do it all in reverse..

save the congrats for the end!!!!

On the way out we saw this Micro Montezuma Falls...cute!!

I did make it but boy-o-boy did I hurt...

still it was worth it!!
