Bathurst had always been on our list but with the changes in our itinerary we thought we would not get there...just an extra 100 k's, was the comment..next thing we are going down Conrod Straight. Bearing in mind that you can only go at 60 k's, we managed the lap in 6 mins 38 sec...must be one of the slowest laps ever.
No stop here would be complete without visiting the Motor Museum. The cars and the history of these beauties was great to see and read about.
Not so much of interest to me but pretty special in it's own right is the Velocette in this picture.
