Things you see always interests me....we had said goodbye to the Stalkers again...after another Last Supper..and after brekky they left heading south..have a great trip guys....
Stephen and I had some more things to collect in Cairns so headed off to do some of these and then moved down to the Foreshore. We had heard from Barbara again and she was in town for work....so we hung around waiting for her to finish up and get to us... While we waited an Atherton Raptor Guide set up with a few of the things you can see if you go out to their establishment. It was not something that got on our list while we were there so it was great just to get a few pics....this beauty is Stella the Wedge Tail Eagle...the hair do is courtesy of the prevailing wind.
We had seen one of these before, but not in daylight..it is the Spotted Tailed Quoll.
And this time I got to hold a live Croc..amazingly soft underbelly, lovely markings...still I was glad that the bitey bit was tapped together!
Look who's in town "The Dyfken" impressive.
And we did find Barb, her job takes her to many places these days and this was the second time on our travels that we had caught up with her...got all the gossip on Liam's (her son) wedding in November, with a hope that we are going to make it there...well hopefully!!
