Day 400 Atherton Crystal Caves

We moved on to Atherton, not far in distance but a long way in vegetation. We came off the Savanah, flat& sometimes boring,  onto the Atherton Tablelands, with lush vegetation, deep coloured soil, some rain forest and some really great towns. We scored at the local caravan park, which after the first night, a little to close to the Ladies toilet, we moved to one of our best sites yet... then we went exploring..... The Crystal Caves was advertised with the largest Amethyst Geode...we could not resist..and then found a marvellous collection of crystals and things!!!!!!!
