Touring around Atherton we came to the Curtain Fig Tree, awesome but bigger was come in the days that followed.
We had a yearning for some coffee and had heard about the Coffee Works at Mareeba, well did we get a surprise...not only a huge collection of coffee, tea and chocolate (girl heaven) but also a collection of everything from percolators, grinders, right through to some of the original Teas Maid...remember them????
Some of the history and even some humour from over the years.....this is all in a museum within the complex...a private collection that has been gathered over the last 35 years. There was so much stuff in the collection that the owner has opened two museums...this and one in Germany.
