We left on our trip up to Exmouth and because of the rain started by stopping at a favourite of ours...Geraldton.We had never actually visited the museum here and were very surprised. Hoard had told us that the museum had included a new exhibit which was the discovery of the HMAS Sydney.
We had always been moved by the memorial... but this just made it even more poignant.
These rang bells as several of the are the same as Stephen's Dads. The medals have now been safely entrusted to Bassie, who wears them proudly on Anzac Day.
She is still there and even as I am typing this, she still manages to bring a lump to my throat... stupid hey!! This time Stephen has managed to catch ships on the horizon, within her arm.
