New Zealand Part 17

We travelled south, heading for Wellington...we came back through Napier and one of the must do's we had been told about was to visit The Mission Winery.
Great wine and a great Fish and Chips....not bad for a monastery. This guy had obviously enjoyed lunch. We also found another unusual poster here. We had collected a few posters of wineries and their labels, but here we found a new twist...it was pictures of cellar doors.
A touch further south was this place....an individuals collection of all models. All cars, trucks, fire engines etc.

We stayed in Masterton....with this as an entry statement it was as pretty as a picture.
We even found a cement Stonehenge....Stephen even managed to get me to sing on the spot...what spot I hear...the acoustic spot...incredible. You can hear yourself so clearly much better than on a stage as the sound comes back at you...
This the horoscope calendar, apparently these two Arians are in fact Piscean's.
Over the road was this incredible Ghost House. Long story but looked so cool for a film set.
From Here we went through Martinborough and stopped for lunch at one of the wineries.
Eventually we got into Wellington and caught up with Kate and Kean....check out the next blog entry!! But first a trip into Wellington...Stephen just loved this picture with the Pigeon on the Mr Bun sign.
