The Wilpena Panorama ! In a word WOW !!! This is painted in what appears from the outside to be a water tank & is a 360dg. view of Wilpena Pound from St.Mary's Peak. The painting detail is Fantastic.
These paintings are by an artist by the name of Jeff Morgan (who failed art at leaving!!). As you can see if you position the camera right you can"t tell if it's a picture or you are actually there....that was not going to happen as it was a 17km hike!!!!
There was more, this one blew us away. The painting starts at the end of the rocks and took up a whole wall, about 10m long by 5m high.
Changing the light produced a sun set effect...all this in a little place called Hawker!
