Another of the places the Stephen had always wanted me to see. He had last been up here over 25 years ago. This shot is just as we are getting into the area , with the Flinders Ranges in the distance.
We travelled a few of our old routes to get there... leaving Clare and traveling to Melrose, where we stopped for coffee..still as nice as we remembered it.
Then off to Quorn...the home of the Pitchi Richie Railway. Unfortunately the steam train only runs infrequently now...so we made do with the diesel shunting the steam loco into the shed...all washed down with some fabulous pies from Willmington..(I reckon the best yet, all home made and delicious).
