The Big Night In.. We had come back to Adelaide to spend a little more time with Bassie and Jess...but the RAAF had other ideas..Bassie got a phone call on the Friday before he was due to go back to work fore warning him that he was off to Darwin on the Tuesday.... Jess was not impressed. So we had to get some serious time together over the weekend.
Stephen and I went to the market and got some Roo steaks (diced) and he was away cooking in the slow cooker. A fabulous casserole with all the veggies in it and then a Rosti for underneath. Such rich food need some heavy reds (there was half a bottle in it as well), which we had plenty off between us.... all finished off with a Tawny Port...yum...the kids got a taxi home!!!!!
Cold night but we did not feel a thing..........
