Day 149 -151 Limestone Coast Part One

Yet again this computer is causing grief... it has now put all the pic's on back to front. Anyway, I'll keep going. This lovely poem was posted on a shop window and I agree whole heartedly with it. Double click on it and it will enlarge for you to be able to read it.
We left the idyllic caravan park of Port Elliot and headed towards Limestone Coast. Home of the famous Coonawarra District. This photo is halfway down the Coorong.
Prior to getting to the previous picture we called in at Bleasdale (Potts) Vineyard at Langhome Creek. Oh boy do they know how to make a Sparkling Shiraz. This was definitely the pick of the Sparkling's to date.
We had a good look around and saw this old Red Gum Press which was working until only a few years ago. While in the area we also went to the Horseradish Farm (Newman's) ... that woke the old taste buds up.  Onwards we went and crossed the Murray on a small ferry in Wellington, very cute.
