We left Adelaide on the 26th November and travelled down the Fleurieu Peninsular. We stopped at Port Elliot for a few days and travelled around the area. This picture and the one below are of a church in Yankalilla with the reported image on the wall of Mary holding the baby Jesus..if you can make that out you are better than me.
We also visited Victor Harbor and went for a horse drawn tram ride over to Granite Island. The Fairy penguins were not about and the rain kept us moving on our walk around the Island.
As you can see these horses are Clydesdales, one of Stephen's favourites... this one was called Misty and she was delightful.
We were very lucky with the park position... we woke each morning to the pounding waves and the light coming into the van. First time we have been able to do this , even had one night of star gazing in bed...did not last the rain came back..ugh!
