Off to the Olgas, were we both started the Valley of the Winds walk, I made it to the first look out, saw a huge drop (and that means climb on the way back) so Stephen went on. We had heard that my dear friend David Heathcote had died, so we used this fabulous spot to say our goodbyes..as Stephen said in the Valley of the Wind the wind would get it to him faster!
In many respects I actually prefer the Olgas, they seem to have more character somehow.
When Stephen came back we went on a more leisurely stroll up the creek that runs out of the Olgas...very peaceful.
