Further In .

In Westonia we checked out the Hood - Penn Museum


What a Brilliant little Museum

As we were leaving I checked out the Edna May Mine
I had to didn't I it was Mum's middle names !


From there we headed to Merriden .
We've stopped for Lunch previously several times !


Part of the Old Mundaring - Kalgoorlie Pipeline 
made from Timber due to Steel shortages !!


We checked out the Railway Museum

Next stop Perth ?


From there a walk to check out the Towns Historic Buildings
The District Hall ...

Then the Cummins Theatre 
Given by the Local Brewer to his Daughter
so she had some where to play the Violin 
and was moved Brick by Brick from Coolgardie ! 




From there I had a quick tour of the Military Museum 





And this "The Dorchester" 
The inside of the Armoured Mobile Control Unit 


From there we moved onto Mangowine Station


What a Treasure !
There were 3 other Vans & a Bus the night we arrived . 


This is a National Trust Property
with Power & Water .... very expensive 
$12.50 a night !!!


The Flowers were magnificent !


Bits of Old Farm Equipment was scattered about .


Obviosly it'd been there for a long time !


A couple of the Adams Family were still in "Residence"

We stayed 3 Nights in this Wonderful Piece of History


We had Bob on our own after the first night ...

We sadly moved onto Trayning  ....


Onwards to Wyalkatchem looking for a Fathers Day Roast
The Pub didn't open until 12 ( so we thought )
So we visited the New Museum there ...

But the Pub wasn't open, so on we moved to Dowerin 


After Lunch we headed to Toodyay but had to stop
for this Magnificent Sight ....
Might have to Blow this one up !


We managed to score a Riverside Site , 
Misty Avon River !


We spent the day exploring Toodyay
The view from the Lookout !


The wildflowers were Great .



A visit to The Gaol was Fabulous !

And so the end of a lovely 10 days !
