Well we got away for "a short break"
with Ray & Ronnie.
Naturally first off was a visit to the source
Death by Chocolate....the Cosy Corner Cafe.
From there down to Shelly Beach..
I love these Caspian Terns all facing into wind.
Up to the Lookout where the loonies jump off.
I'd love to take T&T in there for a couple of days.
Ray's Brother Geoffrey collects "Stuff"
Doesn't every farm have a Tank & a 6 Wheel Drive
to haul it around ?
We were set up opposite.
As you all know food & wine are our highest priority.
So off to the Lake House Winery for a couple of their
superb platters.
See the research last time paid off !!!
Now Ray said he knows a Great Fishing Spot...
Yeah this is it, come on!
Keep Coming.....
I know where I'm going !
Well it was going well but, none of the promised "big fish"
and then the tide started coming in fast.
So off we went to
West Cape Howe the most southerly point in W.A.
Spectacular doesn't do it justice.
Lady your on an overhang there!
Ray had to do a couple of "track repairs"
to get us out.
But a lovely morning was had by the boys!
"Don't you dare!"
Never dare a fool with a camera....
Got You!
The Tower in Albany.
Why you may ask...
Because!
Doesn't every farm have a
Ball of Barbed Wire!
The view from Mount Melville
was spectacular, looking back into Albany.
This is what you do when your camping..
you try and measure trees!
Well Ray did anyway...
A great time was had, albeit too short.
Thanks to R&R and a special thanks to Alison
for going through so much pain so we could get away!
