We got a bit of time on the Friday so Robert & Mario
joined us down at the South Melbourne Market
for a coffee & a stroll & to buy dinner before "Wicked"
Later that day Robert, Mum & I caught the tram to Port Melbourne
for lunch & a look.
First time I've ever seen someone flying a kite from a pier!!
On the Saturday brekkie with Kristian & then we caught the tram to ...
you guessed it "The Queen Victoria Market" for supplies to go to Shafto's
and pick up the car.
Sunday we went to Healsville for a drive in Alys's new Honda Civic.
Now you see before you a hazelnut & chocolate meringue, orgazmic.......
Now Kristian had this light made for me for Christmas...
by a gent he sold an Aston to.
I had made arrangements with Graham to meet him when we got over.
He had made all the equipment to make these and other "stuff"
So Kristian took me to see him.
Below his Aston....engraved in acrylic.
And this is his machine for CNC engraving.
These are the machines that he made it with.
Now that is a Man's Shed....
Upstairs for a coffee in his new kitchen.
Beside in his TV room was this fantastic
"Trekkie" room.
Last day in Melbourne we caught up with
Dago & Wally for coffee in Warrandyte..
catch up again, when we get back for dinner.
Next day, off to Lakes Entrance for lunch of fish & chips.
Nice stop beside the fishing boats.
We got to Ted & Netsi at Tura Beach.
So next day we went for a drive, to the historic Tathra Jetty.
Netsi nicely framed in the door.
Inside is a cafe come gallery..
Then out to a lookout, nice shot if I do say so...
Alison, Netsi & Ted.
Spotted Gums native to this area, beautiful bark....
What about taking a piccie of this???
Can't I'm photographing this....
Dinosaur food..... also in the bush.
A few pictures on the way. This is stunning country.
Now Ted was taking us to Mumbulla Creek Falls.
Assume the pose girls, while we waited.
The only problem this looks flat but the grader had been through,
and left debris all over the centre of the road,
so we waited for him for him to come back and clear it.
It got easy after that.
Then onto the falls, looks nice but they use this as a water slide.
Not bloody likely...
Then back through Bega...the most beautiful valley!!!!
More to follow.
