Kalgoorlie

With the threat of rain we headed into Kalgoorlie early...

being caught on the red dust when wet was not and I repeat not on our agenda!!

We were in and waiting for Richard and Sandra so they could have their car fixed.

To fill in time, we visited the old theatre, which housed an Art Exhibition.

Areas were given over to Sports Hero's and War Hero's.

As you can see the decor was incredible!!

This beautiful pressed tin ceiling throughout.

We ended up staying a couple more days as the wretched car 

needed more parts that had to come from Perth...

Filled in the time with an amusing visit to the Brothel!!!

our new neighbour was a singer by the name of Louise Egan..

very funny..she sang a few for us!

Don't think she would like the expression on her here!

Another of our to do list was the Super Pit at night..

...not quite what I was expecting but very interesting all the same...
