Dawson's Burrowing Bees....
The females build these mounds and burrow anything up to a meter down.
When ready the virgins come to the top of the mound...
...and the males come from all around...
...and the mateing game begins...
...and the oh be hopeful's buzz around.
...battle's take place...
......and they go buzzing on to the next!
