Our last full day at Hopetoun and we tried yet again
to go through the Fitzgerald National Park.
This National Park has been closed to some extent
for the last four years and we had hoped that
this year was going to be different...no such luck!!
In fact the road closure had come even closer to Hopetoun than before.
We stopped and turned round at Culham Inlet and
found that the bird life was full on.
The little female Blue Wren above has painting written all over her!
And you can see that there are various birds and in large numbers.
Then Stephen had an error on his camera and over exposed lots of shots..
he was all for chucking the lot but I have had some ideas of a sort of line painting!
(Operator Error !!!! S.D.)
Then the last night we did a dinner with Rusty and Val..
as usual we have had a lovely time with our friends..
hopefully not 18 months before we see them again!
Time to sign off again..
We will be back again in July so watch this space!!!!
